Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels!

I will start by saying that I have packed on a couple of post-wedding pounds. And on top of that, for the past month I have basically lived in a hotel, on an expense account and, well, I haven't missed a meal! We are going to Costa Rica in t-minus 12 days so I am trying really hard to watch what goes in my mouth.

Yesterday evening on my walk all I could think about was food! So I started telling myself, "nothing tastes as good as skinny feels." I then began to chant it to myself ... for four miles, I chanted. I had to reduce it a little so it sounded good in my head :)

Nothing tastes like skinny feels.
Nothing tastes like skinny feels.
Nothing tastes like skinny feels.
Nothing tastes like skinny feels.
Nothing tastes like skinny feels.
Nothing tastes like skinny feels.

Say it with me!

Nothing tastes like skinny feels.
Nothing tastes like skinny feels.
Nothing tatses like skinny feels.

xoxo~

You are funny! I may have to disagree a bit but I have never been "skinny" so maybe I am no judge :-)

Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels. It is TRUE. I know what you mean about traveling though...it's hard not to eat, especially when there are others traveling with you.

Nothing tastes like skinny feels! Not even pigs in a blanket and beer at a tailgate. Not even worth it! I'm with you. I seriously think the newlyweds need to start a blog weight loss program. 10 pounds isn't huge, but those are SO hard to get off.

amen to that! and I like the shortened version, much easier to say to myself quickly before reaching into the fridge!

I love your quote! I just read it to Hubby and he cracked up and said that's so true, especially when you go to put on a pair of jeans you haven't been able to fit into for a while.--How true!

I'm laughing! I definitely put on weight after we first got married and it took almost two years to get it all off! We called it HappyFat! ;-)

Yesterday was my daughter's b-day party so unfortunately this is about 3 cupcakes too late, but very catchy -I'm going to have to print a big version out and paste it across the front of my fridge!

I am so glad I came across your blog! I completely agree with you. I too have put on a few post wedding lbs and have recently decided it's time to do something about it. I'm going to try your little chant next time! I'll let you know how it goes. :)

I once went to a temp agency to sign up and the consultant had that flashing across her monitor as the screen saver. It pops into my head at moments of weakness and I think of her. Now, I'll think of you both! :)
