His reply:

I love this!!!! How funny; I guess he wouldn't fall for it this time!
HA that's too funny! I hate it when it's warm on T-giving! It doesn't seem right. It needs to be chilly so you can wear cute sweaters and coats!
Maybe a cold front will move in :)
Precious :) That sounds like a typical male response.
Totally hilarious!
Too funny!

What a great post.
Well bless your heart. Here I am trying to run away from the snow and you are chasing after it. Next year you and hubby are invited to our place for Thanksgiving!
I just laughed out loud at this post! Too funny!!
Dearest Belle,
This was the funniest thing that you have posted since I started reading your blog!!
Many wishes sent your way for a perfect Thanksgiving Day with your beau.
I will read this to hubby ASAP so he knows I am not the only one!
LOVEzIT!
During the AC on at Thanksgiving doesn't count! And I totally agree - who wants to eat tons of food when it's hot out?
That is one of the most unique ways to finagle a shopping trip I have seen.
I give you an A for effort! On a less savvy Hubs it would have worked.
Unfortunately it looks like you married a smart one, so you will have to learn to be craftier in the future.
I nominated you for a blog award!
